Awarded Best Family Mental Health Charity 2024, East Sussex
We are a registered charity offering parent/ carer peer support. A safe, non- judgemental space where you can connect with others on a similar journey; chat, share and be supported along your journey. We are a team of parents with lived experience and wish we had somewhere we could have turned to when we needed it. We understand. Most importantly we want you to know that you are not alone.
Informal café style coffee get-together. A chance to meet other parents; chat and be supported. Make friends. We often invite speakers to talk on a range of topics to help you support your child.
When caring for a child with mental health difficulties, parents’ self-care goes out of the window! We encourage parent/carers to take some time out for themselves; to fill their oxygen mask. We offer a range of interventions and it’s a great way to make friends.
Parents tell us that they want information, knowledge and strategies to help them to support their child. We run several courses and workshops to empower parents/carers.
Early intervention is vital to the recovery and wellbeing of all. We offer low-cost counselling through our professional team to anyone in the family.
As a small charity, run by volunteers, we are always looking for people to support our cause. Whether that’s through volunteering, fundraising, sponsorship, or business support; please get in touch with us if you can help in any way.
Help us to make a difference to children’s and young people’s lives.
